Q4 2023 UK iOS Performance of Top Geolocation Games

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the UK's iOS platform saw varied performances among the top geolocation games. Sensor Tower's data gives us a snapshot of how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Pokémon GO, published by Niantic, Inc., showed a gradual decline in revenue, starting the quarter at approximately $205K and ending at around $122K. Downloads peaked in the last week of December with approximately 16K new users, while the weekly active users trended downwards from 931K to 744K.

Jam City's Jurassic World Alive experienced fluctuations in revenue, with a notable spike to $12K towards the end of November. Downloads saw an upswing in the final week of December with over 1K. The game's active users saw a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching nearly 10K.

The newly released Monster Hunter Now, also from Niantic, Inc., observed a downward trend in revenue, starting strong at $16K and dipping to just under $6K by year's end. Downloads surged to over 1K in the final week, and weekly active users saw an overall increase, ending the quarter with over 23K engaged players.

Pikmin Bloom, yet another Niantic title, had modest revenue figures that hovered between $2K to $3K throughout the quarter. The game's downloads and active users remained relatively stable, with the latter maintaining around 7K weekly active users.

Finally, Tamadog - Puppy Pet Dog Games by Akita Limited Liability Company, observed a revenue increase in mid-December, reaching $2.8K. The game's downloads showed a healthy growth, peaking at nearly 3K in the week before Christmas. Engaged users climbed steadily, ending at 2.4K.
